How do I keep my hair from getting "static-ky" (don't know how to spell it). my hair

Are there any hair products that can fix this and don't damage my hair? My hair keeps being all static-ky. I want to wear my hair down. And what can I do about the little hairs that keep stickying up on the top of my head? They're like short hairs that are half the size of my bangs;i don't know why. I've tried hair gel but it didn't work. Which hair product do you like for keeping hairs down from sticking up?

For static, try dryer sheets! Rub them all over your hair (works on staticy clothes too) Sounds funny, but it works. The hairs on top of your head are called "fly aways", try an aerasol hairspray to tame them. Also, they have anti frizz serums that you can try also to tame them. Good luck, I have the exact same problem!

well it might not be your hair that's staticy it might be your shirt lack of fabric softner but if it is your hair try an anti-frizz product

If you are straightening your hair everyday, or trying to, the best thing to do is to straighten your hair a little, then put about a dime sized blob of regular conditionar onto the palm of your hand, spread it around your hand, work it into your hair, and then use your straightener again. As for the little frizzies, good luck. I use hair spray to try to tame them, but all you can really do is wait for them to grow out. Believe me, I have the same problem.

deep conditioning treatments.... quick fix, rub a dryer sheet over your hair, it work i promise and it won't damage your hair and it's portable.

try using a spray leave in conditioner. the hair care brand you use should have one. ( if not i use tresemme and love it) once you have towel dried your hair, before you comb/brush your hair spay the conditioner all over your hair. Then comb/brush your hair and style like you would normally. i have extreamly staticy hair and ido this everyday and i don't have to worry about the static. Good luck

I had the same problem and I use Matrix contour cream or bouncy cream by ISO. You can get these in any hair cutting place. It does not have to be a fancy salon. They really help.
