whenever i go to get my hair done, they straighten it really good. but the next day, when i wash it and try to style it, it sticks up %26amp; looks nothing like it does at the salon.
how do i get my hair to lie flat %26amp; not stick up? are you supposed to pull your straightener down instead of out?
and what are some products i could use that work good on thick hair other than gel or mousse?

Pull the straightner down, I prefer gel and towel dry hair then layer by layer blow dry it then layer by layer straighten it, next time you go to your hairdresser let them give you pointers on how to duplicate the look, also, sleep on a silky or satin pillowcase that will help keep your style looking nice if you do not shampoo on a daily basis.
How do i get salon hair?
Tresemme products and wit ur straighter you suppose to angle it in just a bit when your pulling it down so it doesn't damage the sticky outie ones as much...(saw it on what not to wear)
