What is the best heat protector product for hair that doesnt leave your hair sticky or stiff?

I like to use a flat iron on my hair to help with the frizz and straighten out the end sometimes but I cant find a product that I can spray on my dry hair just before I flatten it that wont leave my hair sticky or stiff like I am using hair spray or gel. I want my hair to be straight and natural, not stiff...any suggestions?

I use Garnier Fructis leave-in conditioner. It's lightweight, but it really does protect my hair. I used to have so many split ends before I started using it, but now I hardly have any. I just smooth it through sections of my hair and then use my flat iron. It works great and it makes my hair soft and frizz-free. Another way to protect your hair and cut down on frizz is to apply a hair serum to your hair before you straighten it. The heat from your flat iron will seal the serum into your hair and keep the ends moisturized.

(I've tried several heat protection sprays, but they have all made my hair feel and look sticky. They are really not worth the money)
