my hair becomes stiff and points outwards when cut short, its unmanageable and quite frizzy... i want it to look soft (unlike when i use hair gel) but stays put even when i move alot...

Bedhead works really well. I would also suggest, if you blow dry your hair, to use a cooler setting than you normally use. This helps with my frizzies a lot. And if your hair parts a certain way, blow dry with the direction your hair points.

One thing you could try is a conditioner for dry hair. That might make your hair soft and not so frizzy. Aussie 3 minute miracle is a good one.

you could try something like paul mitchells super skinny serum
it makes such a huge difference.
it might seem expensive. but you'll only need a tiny bit for short hair.
there are other defrizzing serums, you could get at walmart or whereever, but thats the best.
