i have curly hair but its just frizzy. when i curl my hair it gets frizzy as soon as i step outside. i see all these people who gel their hair and get the wet curly look and it stays in all day! especially puerto rican girls. they have the prettiest curly hair. how do they do it? please help with a lot of details...thanks!

Okay, I know exactly what you mean. I have naturally curly hair, and I'm actually Puerto Rican too! However, I do not do my hair that way. I think it looks pretty stiff and not very natural.

But, if you DO want this look, you can accomplish it by using any type of curly hair gel or mouse. The girls you are talking about probably use a lot of the product, which makes it very stiff. You should wash your hair, apply the product to your hands and then all throughout your hair making sure to cover all areas including underneath and in the middle.

If you want to achieve a more natural look and eliminate frizz, you can do what I do. I use Curl Life by Matrix shampoo, conditioner and mouse. The trick is to keep your hair moisturized, because curly hair is very course and dry. Do not shampoo your hair every day; do it about every other day. You can still shower and use conditioners to help keep it conditioned. After I shower I use the mouse and then dry my hair for a few minutes with a diffuser and let it dry naturally the rest of the way. It is a little bit still for a while until it's completely dry, but once it's completely dry, my curls are tight, controlled, NOT frizzy and they look great!

all u do is u have to have ur hair wet... i mean wett after shower wet... dont wait for it to dry an min.

Its just tons of gel...and scrunching it in a towel when its wet with ALOT OF GEL...then blowdry it ....i dont know in my opinion it always looked trashy...and that isnt a insult to you or anyone else...its just that my cousins always did it and they were bitches LOL..so now i see it as trashy...

Its actually really easy to do its better if you start out with wetting your hair. After you wet it you get some mousse and flip your hair to the front and apply the mousse on all of it. Then whenever you got you hair curly like you wanted it get hairspray and flip it once again and start spraying it everywhere. You can let it air dry but it's better whenever you dry in with a blow dryer so it wont get frizzy. Hope it helps.

Its easyI do it alot just go too sally;s beautys supplies and get some ion scruching spray or ion spray gel or get some at walmart they probaly dont have ion but i bet they have other name brands after washing hair towel dry then spray in all over in hair scruch or if you want shape the curls and walaa good luck

well wat u do is u wet it...and u could put some cream on it to make it not as poofy..or watever.

but yeahh...so u put on some mousse...and at the ends if u wants u could put some gel.

and then u get spray and get a little bunches of strands and put hair spray on it (so it wont be stiff and itll look more natural)
