Try hairspraying your hair and THEN curling it - then take the curl and pin it to your head for a while. Commonly, people try to curl their hair and let it fall out before the curl COOLS and sets. I have VERY long hair and i had the same problem - this trick works for me!

Wow! You are just like me!! I have the EXACT same problem! I decided to try it one more time today and guess what, IT WORKED! I will tell you what I did to get it to work:

1: Wash your hair with shampoo AND conditioner.

2: I don't know if this did anything but I brushed my hair and then put it up in a high pony-tail for 8 hours while it was wet.

3: Take down your hair and turn your curler on HIGH.

4: While the curler is heating, brush your hair thoroughly.

5: Wrap your hair in THIN pieces around the curler after it is heated. Hold the hair on it for about 10-50 seconds.

6: Spray or apply a GOOD amount of hairspray on it.

Or you could get a loose perm.

Ta-da! It worked for me...

My mom is gonna give me a loose perm...

Instead of bringing the curling iron all the way down to the tips of your hair, then rolling it up. Start from the roots.

Curl your hair at the roots and gradually pull down and roll backup.

It is kinda hard to explain, but that is what works best with my straight hair.
