Has anyone used the hair gels from lush cosmetics?

I love all the bath and shower products from lush and saw some hairgels when I was in the shop today and I like the idea of using something natural and not full of chemicals on my hair. I was just wondering if they give good hold? I was thinking about maybe using the strong hold one to hold curls in? thanks!

Has anyone used the hair gels from lush cosmetics?

My favourite of them is 'The Big Tease'. It seems to work very well for me, I don't need much hold and to be honest it is a bit strong for me but it might work well for you if you're wanting to hold your curls.

The staff working in Lush gave me tips on how to make it work the best. Don't be afraid to ask for free samples of the ones you want to try, if you're nice the staff are usually happy to give you a try to take home.

Has anyone used the hair gels from lush cosmetics?

Is the goo that black people put in their hair fire retardent?

I'd hate to see my school burn down because of hair gel.

Is the goo that black people put in their hair fire retardent?

Your school is likely to burn down because of the white chicks and their hair mousse.

Is the goo that black people put in their hair fire retardent?

thats a retarded question

Is the goo that black people put in their hair fire retardent?

What??????????

Is the goo that black people put in their hair fire retardent?

i think your brain retardent, why would ppl be lighting fires in their hair in the first place, are your clothes flame retardent, and i dont think i heard of ppl wearin jerri curls since 92

Is the goo that black people put in their hair fire retardent?

Talk about retarded- hey!!! maybe u are one of those fools that wanna bring back segregation to save u from the fire caused by goo!!! (I wish i could use the yahoo! smiley right here- the one that rolls its eyes)

Is the goo that black people put in their hair fire retardent?

I think its a petroleum product so it wouldn't be fire retardent.

Is the goo that black people put in their hair fire retardent?

excuse me sweetie

by that goo do you mean "hair grease"

alot of BLACK PEOPLE use different things. We do not have naturally moist hair, so we do use grease. And if they are pressing or flat ironing their hair thats a whole other story. Us BLACK PEOPLE like to keep our hair nice as Im sure you do too and we both know that may require "touch ups". I would really doubt the hair grease that we AFRICAN AMERICANS put in our hair would not burn down your school. I hoped you learned something.

Is the goo that black people put in their hair fire retardent?

this is a stupid question. and white girls but gel and mousse intheir hair. how about u talk about that.

Is the goo that black people put in their hair fire retardent?

Sorry jerk I had to report you after I read all of your racist questions about black people. Nof funny get a life.

Is the goo that black people put in their hair fire retardent?

rephrase the question in a more NICER manner and maybe we will answer your question(:

Is the goo that black people put in their hair fire retardent?

okay, Are you doing that new retarded thing? I think its called robo'trippin! Lay off the cough syrup.

I bought some curlers soft ones for my hair to curl it because my hair is very thin and dosent want

anything my question is should I brush my hair and put gel on it before I put the curlers in my hair overnight? And also in the morning I dont want the curls to come out do I have to blowdry or brush it or use any kind of hairspray I dont want to look I put me finger in a light socket.lol?

I bought some curlers soft ones for my hair to curl it because my hair is very thin and dosent want to do?

At night wash your hair and blow dry it to semi-dry.

Comb a setting lotion through it, which doesn't dry as stiff as gel or mousse.

Use a fine toothed comb to take your sections, comb them smooth, and then roll them. With the spongey rollers hair can easily be stuck in the closing snap, and so must be rolled neat and tidy for ultimal results.

In the morning, carefully remove the rollers but leave your hair in the rolled position. Check for dampness. Lightly blow dry any damp curls. Dampness on set hair will ruin the set before you even walk out the door.

Once the hair is thoroughly dry, rub some of the setting lotion on your hands and gently finger comb it. Don't brush or seperate the curls, they'll fall by themselves and last longer if you leave it be after light finger combing.

Finish with a finishing spray.

I bought some curlers soft ones for my hair to curl it because my hair is very thin and dosent want to do?

Brushing/gel before curlers is good. If your hair is damp in the morning, blow dry with curlers in. Take the curlers out slowly and just run your fingers through to shape it the way you want, then spray with hair spray. you should be good to go! 閳?br>I bought some curlers soft ones for my hair to curl it because my hair is very thin and dosent want to do?

Since your hair is so thin, shampoo or wet the hair before putting gel in your hair. (spray in gels, such as the one Pantene makes works best, as it's not so messy on the hands) In the morning, take all the rollers out of your hair, carefully, so as not to pull your hair out, then take your hairbrush, %26amp; brush through your hair once, real good. Then go back %26amp; style your hair with a pick or a comb. BTW: By brushing through your curls, you are helping to set the curl. When I had my hair salon, I loved doing roller sets %26amp; I miss doing them. Just a helpful tip. If you want a tighter curl in your temple region, use the silver clippies. The curls stay in really well.

I bought some curlers soft ones for my hair to curl it because my hair is very thin and dosent want to do?

Your using the wrong rollers. Buy the plastic, magnetic, snap on rollers with the smooth barrel, and apply setting lotion to wet/damp hair. Nothing else. Let hair dry naturally. You will have smooth, firm, bouncy curls that will last all day until you re-roll up at night. Do not use hair spray or gels, they will make the curls, stiff, hard, and your hard will break off when you try to comb it out.

Hair questions?

I have some hair questions. Answer any please. Thanks!

-How can I get my hair in a perfect ponytail? Whenever I put it up I always have bumps, etc.

-When I put my hair up I use gel to get rid of frizz, etc. Should I put the gel in before I put my hair up or after its up?

-Any tips for frizzy hair?

-How can I have my hair in a pontail with the part still in it? Like how it's in a pony or w/e but you can still see the part? I tried parting my hair and pulling it into a pony but then it has bumps..

-What are some good simple hairstyles?

-For waves[to make your hair wavy by braiding] about how many braids should you put your hair into? How thick should they be and any other tips for getting good waves?

-Any other good hair tips you have that could be useful? Just anything that you know?

Hair questions?

1) What you should do is first straighten your hair. Then pull it into a high, tight pony tail. Then take a rubberband, put some conditioner on it and tie it tightly around your pony tail. This will prevent frizz.

2) I would put it in both times- extra protection!

3) One word- Chi Straightner!

4) Don't- you have to have super thin, straight hair.

5) Braids

6) 3 braids- divide your hair into thirds, (2 braids on the side, 1 in the back) and put a little water into your hair. Sleep on it

7) You should wash your hair every other day. Use a Chi straightner

Hope I help! Have a nice day!

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

til it is totally dry - read the directions

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

You're supposed to wait 24 hours, but I've washed in the morning and done my hair at night and it turned out fine.

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

dirty hair is best to dye. the oils will help hold in the initial color. so i wouldn't wash it for a few days, then dye it!

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

I've usually just wait a day and it works out just fine. I dye my hair at home all the time and have been doing so for a year, too.

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

1-2 days. I know it sounds gross not washing your hair for that long, but the natural oils of your hair will protect it when you dye it.

Take care.

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

24 hours. You are not supposed to color your hair right after you shampoo it. When you shampoo your hair, it strips away all the oils that protect your scalp when you color it.

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

DYE IT NOW I DONT KNOW WHY THOUGH! MY CAT TOLD ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

dont wash and color your hair the same day. color about 1 or 2 days later.

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

you can just use a dime drop of conditioner and rub it into your hair on the dry ends and then dye away!

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

Wait til your hair dries and then color it.

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

You can color as soon as your hair is good and dry,but it might be better to wait til the am.

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

Wait till it dryes. The dye won't stick to wet hair.

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

24 hours

in tell your hairs dry!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

just blow dry it dry and you'll be good to go

24 hrs

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

The reason you don't want freshly washed hair is because the dyes are formulated to respond best in the presence of natural hair oils. They not only protect the hair from the dyes (preventing frizzies and split ends), but they also give you a finished color that isn't as prone to fading.

Give your hair 24 hours before you color it. Don't rush it and don't try to fake it out with other products. It might not be this coloring where you see the damage, but it would be the next. Your hair is very porous after you color it and it's best to treat it properly now so that you don't fry it later.

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

When you are shopping for hair color, read what the manufacturers directions are. Most of these manufacturers have their own websites. Check them out, they all have Q%26amp;A's sections. Don't forget their are many different types of hair colors...tints, semi-permanent and permanent. You have to choose which will better suit the desired effect you are looking for and become aware of the long term repeated colorings should you go permanent or what you would have to do in order to remove permanent color from your hair to return to it's natural color. All hair color products eventually will cause some damage to your hair, use a real good deep conditioner, should you settle for repeated colorings. Permanent black hair color is the worse to remove, it has to be removed by bleaching...bad for the hair. Choose wisely.

I need to dye my hair at home, I just shampooed because of all the gel. How long should I wait?

Ok, listen to tell u the truth it dont matter. Just make sure your hair is completely dry. Also another tip for using box color is to mix three cupfuls of shampoo , because the peroxide vol. is way to strong and thats why people dont get the right color. good luck.

How do i get a mark from a hair product off my coffee table. the mark is alcohol based.table not var

the other day i placed a bottle of spray hair gel on my table and it was leaking and left a ring on my table. the mark is alcohol based. the table is mahogony and is not varnished. how can i get it off without ruining my table. I do have woodstain but it isnt covering it.HELP

How do i get a mark from a hair product off my coffee table. the mark is alcohol based.table not varished?

You could try washing soda (available from supermarkets and hardware shops) dissolved in hot water. Apply this with extra fine wire wool along the grain in a light scrubbing motion over the whole surface of the table. This should remove all the muck on the table top. Although I haven't tried it specifically with hair gel, it's worked on all the other stains, and old furniture wax, I've tried. If you wish, when dry, you can then apply a light coat of Briwax or similar, again along the grain and with extra fine wire wool. When this dries, you can either polish with a soft cloth, or knock it back with... you guessed it, wire wool. This will make the surface less prone to marking in the future.

How do i get a mark from a hair product off my coffee table. the mark is alcohol based.table not varished?

Use another alcohol to remove the stain. Suggest meths or surgical spirit.

How u take care u'r hair form heating them?

For great look we straightening hair or blue drying it is a habit for all of us but heating hair can dammag so what u take more and more precaution not dammag hair.

I think that you are asking 'what product do you use to protect your hair from heat damage?' if you are then I use Tresemme Heat defence spray, it leaves a lovely shine in my hair.

How u take care u'r hair form heating them?

If you're asking 'what products help protect hair from heat damage' I would suggest a trip to your local Sally's or other pro shop. A very good leave in conditioner would be a good start, and a serum (frizz ease is good) will help maintain gloss and hold in the moisture.

The best idea is - don't blow dry and straighten every day!

How u take care u'r hair form heating them?

Use a heat defense spray, its the only way to protect your hair unless you let your hair dry naturally. xx

How u take care u'r hair form heating them?

I have oozing from my under arm. I thought it was "razor burn"? Blood & clear gel?

After 30 or more years of shaving, I've never had this before and it's not healing. I use an electric shaver so I just don't know what the problem is. When ever I stretch my arm out it seems to start again. It is thick like hair gel and brown. or thin like water and clear?

I have oozing from my under arm. I thought it was "razor burn"? Blood %26amp; clear gel?

it might be a sist you know ingrown hairs. hairs that grow in the direction not intended to. might wanna see a doctor or stop shaving. also your deorderant might be giving you an reaction

I have oozing from my under arm. I thought it was "razor burn"? Blood %26amp; clear gel?

Um, I can't see it, so I can't help much. Why are you asking us for a description? We can't see it.

Did you do something different than usual?

Have you asked someone that can see it?

Sometimes sores that won't heal are a symptom of much bigger problems (like diabetes). Think doctor's appointment.

I have oozing from my under arm. I thought it was "razor burn"? Blood %26amp; clear gel?

Get it checked out. A skin infection of some kind. No shaving please.

I have oozing from my under arm. I thought it was "razor burn"? Blood %26amp; clear gel?

A thick brown discharge sounds like a deeply infected hair follicle or infected cyst. Please go see your local doctor. A delay may allow the infection to spread to surrounding tissues or to the lymph nodes in th axilla which could lead to far more serious health problems such as septicaemia.

I have oozing from my under arm. I thought it was "razor burn"? Blood %26amp; clear gel?

you could have had a nick in your skin that got infected causing cellulitis. what makes me think this is the fact that when you stretch out your arm it starts again and that may be due to the pressure on the area from stretching. cellulitis can be a "pocket" of infection under the skin that requires either antibiotics or draining depending on how large the area is. you need to see a doctor so that they can determine what is going on and i would avoid shaving and deoderants until this is possible so as not to further aggravate the situation.

Moisturising lotion in hair?

i just came across a chat transcript of ambika pillai and read that she has asked to use moiturising lotion in hair instead of gel for the wet look!and she has recommended vaseline intensive care.is she talking of moisturising lotion which we use in body or there are some other lotions available for hair?

has any1 use moisturising body lotion in hair?

Moisturising lotion in hair?

Actually I just did that last weekend. I spent the night over my friend's house, but I forgot my hair moisturizer and my friend didn't have any. I have a curly afro and needed to use something or else it would be dry and fluffy, so I ended up using my friend's vaseline intensive care with aloe. My hair was the softest that it has ever been, and it didn't get dry. I was wondering if i could use body lotion on a regular basis or if it would damage my hair. Where did you read that transcript , I'd like to read it myself and see what all it said.

Moisturising lotion in hair?

Uhhm I am going to have to conqur. Bio Silk is by far the best product that you can use for the wet look. You can buy it at your salon in a tiny bottle for like $20 or in a big bottle from Costco for $10. And you can use it for more than just your hair, and more than just the wet look.

Moisturising lotion in hair?

No.... there is a hair moisturising lotion.

Most brands carry a line of hair moisturisers; Optimum; Panteen ProV; Garnier; Tresumme. It works well for hair that tends to be dry, especially if you're in air condition most of the times.

It works even better when coupeled with a hair polish. Put a little of both in the palms of your hand and then work through your hair. Hair instantly looks healthier and more shiney.

Moisturising lotion in hair?

ethnic or not?

Moisturising lotion in hair?

ew that stuff is sticky, use straight sorbolene cream

How to style poofy American hair into Asian mullet or spiky look?

Recently I got my hair cut into what can only be described as a Julie Andrews Cut (reference picture, only poofier: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000AP... )

I really wanted a bed-head, spiky, perhaps Asian mullet sort of look, but I'm not sure my hairdresser understood me (either that, or my hair refuses to do what I want it to).

I'm not a blow-drier kind of person (because it only makes me poofier - plus hair damage, etc), but I do have time, hair wax, and gel at my disposal, and I'd really like some advice on how to de-poof the top of my head, and give it a texturized, spiky look.

Thanks in advance for all the advice!

How to style poofy American hair into Asian mullet or spiky look?

http://shenyuepop.com/wp-content/uploads...

something like her? the Korean hairstyle? you have to cut the top a lot and do major layers. it is kind of like men's shaggy cut and maybe get extensions? it kind of looks better when you have long hair. but short hair is fine. =] first, you MUST cut the top and add layers. it will not work unless you have the hair to. to get a good cut you should go to a Korean salon... and print out the picture. they may refuse because to make a mullet look it can not be too short. with the hair like the girl in the picture, your hair will not look puffy. because if you get that cut you are cutting a LOT of volume which will "de-puff" your hair. good luck. =]

My hair is real dry what should i do?

im a guy and i contion my hair i use gel i try everything and my hair is still dry as heck what should i do what kind of shampoo and conditioning shoul i use?!?! HELP ! plz!!

My hair is real dry what should i do?

I use Aussie Moist shampoo and conditioner and it really helps. I have really long hair and for awhile I was using crappy cheap brands like VO5 and Suave (because I was broke... and still am) and it was getting really dry and brittle, even when I was using conditioner. So I went back to Aussie. They have a whole line of conditoners and treatments that are great for dry and damaged hair. There is also VO5 hot oil, which is a little tube of oil that you warm and add to your hair for a few minutes before you shampoo. Maybe use that once a week or so.

My hair is real dry what should i do?

i suggest you start with a hot oil treatment. this may be found at the drug store.

next you should brush you hair one hundred strokes a day to evenly distribute the scalp's natural oil through the entire hair. continue to use a good shampoo and conditioner (some have built in moisturizers).

My hair is real dry what should i do?

OK, first off: most styling products (probably the gel you are using) have alcohol in them, this is very drying. QUIT using that! Then you need to assess the type and condtion of your hair, do you have thick hair, straight or curly, or fine hair?

Do you have split-ends? That's like when you can see white at the tips of each hair. If you have splits, first you need to get a good haircut, go to a barber or stylist so quality scissors and/or shears can be used on your hair to get the dead stuff off.

Usually a hair stylist can recomend a good shampoo and conditioner for your hair type. I have found a few that are mild and good for all types of hair: TresSemme Brand is good (and inexpensive). You may also need to get a good deep conditioner to restructure your hair cuticle. A few I like ( you will have to go to a BeautySupply for this): Ion Brand Deep Conditioner and the other one I like I think is called something like HairSilk (could be wrong about the name, but you can identify it by the pinkish brown packet (its 1-2 uses) it comes in, and it's cost should be about $1.00 to $1.50..this is some amazing stuff if you can find it, for getting your hair back to normal.

Last and not least: Do not wash your hair everyday, try to go 3 days, but at least every other day, so you don't dry it out.

My hair is real dry what should i do?

FIRST OF ALL STOP USING GELS.2NDLY OIL UR HAIR AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE SHAMPOOING.

DONT USE SHAMPOO FOR MORE THAN 3 TIMES A WEEK.

SO BEST OF LUCK.

My hair is real dry what should i do?

u use oil properly ....and 5 days once apply curd or white part of egg and after 45 mins or 1 hour...take bath....curd and egg having more proteins so it will change dryness ..

My hair is real dry what should i do?

1.Like everything else about true, lasting beauty, healthy hair begins within your body. Start with your diet. Include lots of green leafy vegetables and sweet juicy fruits. Dairy products such as milk and fresh yogurt will also help. Fresh coconut is also considered excellent "hair food" - sprinkle grated coconut over salads, diced fresh fruit, or rice. 2.Cut down on refined, processed and canned foods. Ayurveda considers foods with artificial preservatives and chemical additives stripped of their inherent "intelligence" and therefore not helpful in supplying nutrition to your body and mind. Ice-cold beverages also hamper the process of digestion and assimilation of nutrients.

3.Cooking with certain spices adds flavor to your food and provides nourishment for your hair. Cumin, turmeric and black pepper are some "hair-friendly" spices. Add a healthy pinch of each to single-portion soups and stews as they are cooking. Saut鑼?1/8 閳?/4 teaspoon each of the three spices in a teaspoon of ghee (clarified butter) or olive oil and add to cooked veggies. Roasted ground cumin and ground black pepper can be sprinkled over fresh yogurt.

4.Stress can be seriously injurious to long-term health and color of hair. Try and manage your time and tasks to minimize time-related pressures. Practice relaxation techniques such as meditation. Seek out tranquil sights in nature to help restore balance to your mind. Relaxing or uplifting music can be therapeutic. Get adequate, good quality sleep to help the natural process of rejuvenation.

5.Ayurvedic herbs that help hair health include Eclipta alba and Gotu Kola. Eclipta alba is called "Bhringaraj" - literally, king of tresses. It nourishes the hair and helps resistance to stress as well. Brahmi, sometimes called Gotu Kola, also helps balance the mind and nourishes the hair and scalp. Since Ayurveda considers the health, color and luster of hair so dependent on overall mind/body health, synergistic Ayurvedic herbal preparations for hair can also include herbs such as Country Mallow, which is supposed to strengthen the physiology, and Winter Cherry, which aids resistance to stress.

6.Stay away from harsh chemical topical products that can damage hair over time. Look for gentle, natural cleansers and conditioners, especially if you wash your hair more than three times a week. Shampoos and conditioners that contain nourishing botanicals are even better. Read labels carefully - sometimes, products that say "herbal" or "natural" can include no-no chemicals.

7.A warm oil scalp massage two or three times a week will help stimulate and moisturize the scalp. You can use good quality coconut, almond or olive oil Ayurvedic hair oils also contain some of the herbs mentioned earlier. Apply some mildly warmed oil to your hair and gently massage into your scalp evenly with your fingertips. Leave on overnight if you can, if not, leave on for at least an hour or two, then get it out by shampooing your hair. The scalp massage helps you relax and aids sound sleep as well.

8.Never attack wet hair with a brush, no matter how rushed for time you are. Tangles in wet hair are best removed with a wide-toothed comb. Use a wooden comb if you can find one; it won't generate static electricity. Excessive blow-drying can damage hair in the long-term, making it brittle and causing split ends. If you can, let your hair dry naturally, then brush into place.

9.Last, but not least, brushing your hair regularly to stimulate the scalp will keep it looking healthy and lustrous. Brush each night in all directions in turn - left to right, right to left, front to back and back to front Use smooth long strokes from scalp to hair-tips.

What to do with fly away hair and curly at the sides.?

Get a good leave in conditioner, or a milky-like serum for control. It'll also define, without weighing your hair down, like gels.

You might want to start leaving some of the curls out on the side, rather than fighting them. They probably look nicer than you think...but still get one of the two products mentioned above for control and definition.

You can get gel or mousse that will give you the wet look so even after it dries it won't become frizzy.

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

You really shouldn't brush or comb wavy/curly hair, it breaks up the curls and makes them frizzy, I barely use my hairbrush anymore myself. You're right about using mousse/gel. There are products out in the market specifically for curly hair, good to use. When you blow dry, use a diffuser attachment, it's a lot gentler, specially made for drying curly hair

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

I have naturally curly hair, and here is what I have to do to make my hair look nice. I use the Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner for curly hair (it is amazing, and it smells wonderful), then, like right after I get out of the shower, I use Confixor by Aveda to put in my hair, then I brush it all out, and I use Herbal Essence Spray Gel, holding strength number 2. I have really really good hair, and it hardly EVER gets frizzy or anything. I personally do not brush my hair after it is dry, and I let my hair air-dry.

But, I hope this helps!

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

First tip: Don't brush or comb your hair! From the way you're describing you hair, it sounds a lot like mine. I have wavy/curly hair too, and the one thing I never do is brush it, because it will separate the strands and make it super poofy/frizzy. Right after you take a shower, use a large blob of leave-in conditioner and massage into your hair. While you massage it in, kind of take handfuls of your hair and smush them against your scalp so that your waves and curls will be more defined. Finally, spray a bit of flexible hair spray and let your hair air dry. It should be frizzy-free. If not, you probably didn't put enough leave in conditioner. I find gel and mousse to be a bit sticky, so that's why I recommend conditioner instead. Good luck! :D

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

if you want to wear it curly without mousse or gel then opt for a relaxing cream. Check out frizz ease hair care line. Its perfect for super curly hair thats wild and frizzy. Get the cream and apply it the same as you would mousse or gel and its will eave your hair pretty without frizz or crunchy like mousse or gel.

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

Me too. What I started doing 5 years ago was this:

I use a good conditioner Pantene (voted on by consumers) and one or two leave-on conditioners. The most important change I made, however, i ONLY brush my hair after washing/conditioning. I'm happy, my hair is healthy, and it looks better than ever.

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

My daughter and I both have your kinda hair, we go to a beauty supply store that sells all kinds of black hair care products (we are puerto rican) not like Sally's beauty supply. We use a Leave in Conditioner called PARNEVU with T-TREE, and then we put in Hawaiian Silky Cream Moisturizer curl activator We love this stuff its not greasy, and shapes your curls real nice, another thing we stopped doing is using a regular brush most days we just use our fingers, but if it knots up on us we use a brush with air slot in it , we use the same products to straight dry our hair except for the curl moisturizer, we use the 14 in 1 conditioner, (H.S) now that one is greasy but it works well with a blow dryer and an extra large curling brush, that brush you can get from Sally's. Good Luck

You need protien and a moisturizer. Not one of those "street conditioners" that you can buy in the grocery store. But, a real conditioner. Something by Redken, Mastey, or Sebastian. Go into a quality salon, or call one, make sure its a good one, and ask for their advice.

One way to know that you have a good conditioner is that after using it a couple of times, you don't have to keep using it every time you shampoo your hair.

Just do a little research, and it will save you money in the long run, because you won't be purchasing products that are basically "Downey for hair", and you will love the difference you see in your hair.

It's also very important to use a good shampoo at the same time.

The type you should look for is something on the order of a Power Pack, which will add protien and moisture at the same time. This will more than likely require you to leave it on for 20 minutes.

Soon you will love the new appearance of your hair.

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

Walmart sells lots of hair cair products for this type hair. They may help out. (in the form of shampos and cond.)Good luck!

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

Don't blowdry it, don't brush it.

There is a website called http://www.naturallycurly.com/

It has lots of reviews of products and how they affect peoples different curl types.

A great book that helped me was curly girl. It recommends that you do not shampoo your hair - it strips the natural oils that help manage frizz. Instead you condition only, scrubbing your scalp to remove any buildup. I use only a plain cheapie gel on my hair, put the top-most layer up a bit in clips, form a few curls around my fingers, and then airdry. I don't need any silicone smoothing products and my hair looks fine all day.

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

Naturally curly hair is always best if you just run your fingers through it and add a styling product. Brushing or blowdrying curls makes it frizzy. You might want to try using a diffuser on it, it is made for curly hair, and attaches to your blowdryer. Or maybe you should invest in a flat iron, and straighten it out for a different look

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

Straighten it. Walgreens has a really good straightener its from conir and its black and yellow. Go on walgreens.com and i'm sure you'll find it. Also it takes a while to figure out how to straighten it. Take your time and do all of your hair and go over your hair 2-3 times. good luck!

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

I also agree to check out tips on here for hair straightening.. to even tame it a little bit.. the you might not have to use mousse or gel everyday if you don't want to.. definitely I would never blow dry it unless you were trying to straighten it also they make hair straighteners out there it's a flat iron that you could straighten your hair that way.. if you don't want to have to use chemicals on it..

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

my best bet is that if you dont want any product in your hair while having it down or whatever, straighten it. make sure you get a straghtner with a ceramic iron. those work much better then the regular ones. they dont dry upor damage your hair and they actually give more moisture to your hair and leave your hair feeling silky smooth and weightless . i would go to your local wal-mart or target and pick one up they work great!

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

BIOSILK is the best porduct created for frizz. It is a little pricy, but it is made from real silk and a wonderful product that smells great. Also, there is a gel called KMS which is a great gel for curly hair.

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

You need to use a frizz serum .

I have wavy/curly hair and its nice when i style it with mousse/gel but when i let it airdry its really frizzy

usse a tourmaline ceramic dryer it will make your hair straighter after you wash it. and also you can use gel then use a ceramic dryer or straightner then use it and your straight hair will last you for about a week

How should a 13 year old boy wear his hair?

My hair is like an umbrella (T.T) It is always down (ToT) but I have 50 bazillion bottles of hair gel. An included pic would be nice or a link, but I need tips.

How should a 13 year old boy wear his hair?

what's the question? it makes no sense

How should a 13 year old boy wear his hair?

You could try getting an emo/scene cut (you know, long side bangs + lots of layers). Pictures: http://photobucket.com/images/scene%20bo...

Or, if you're not into that kind of thing, just get it layered or cut it short and spike it. There's really not a lot of hairstyle choices for guys. ^^;;

How should a 13 year old boy wear his hair?

Let me put it this way, when you get to the age you can date please stick to short spiky hair. Girls like spiky. If i were a guy i'd wear my hair short because it would get me ready for dating and it wouldn't be overly oily. My 13 year old sister likes guys with short hair also. But then again she has been hit on by 16 year olds and 32 year olds!

Hair Spray? Pros & Cons?

What kind of look it gives the hair? Does it make hair stick like gel? Thanks!

Hair Spray? Pros %26amp; Cons?

It depends on the hairspray.

Pros- Gets rid of most frizz, some give it the "wet look", controls and maintains certain hairstyles.

Cons- Some are sticky, may gradually lighten hair, and some don't work at all.

Hair Spray? Pros %26amp; Cons?

Hairspray makes your hair feel like straw and it can make your hair fall out over time. Don't use it.

What clothing style do girls like? And what about hair?

I'm 16 and a Junior at the local highschool. I've always wondered what clothing styles girls are more attracted too. I'm not looking too change my style by no means at all. I always dress very formal. Dress Shirts, Nice Jeans, Dress pants, etc.

And what about hair? Do girls like hair gel or hairspray or anything at all?

What clothing style do girls like? And what about hair?

i am 15 1/2 and a sophmore

for a guy i think no gel or hairspray is better.....just a nice fairly short clean cut

clothes....hmm they have to fit (no jeans down at the knees with boxers hanging out) nice clothes and dressier shirts are good too

you sound like you have a nice style...i think i would probably be attracted to it

What clothing style do girls like? And what about hair?

well heres my person input. i hate gel and hairspray cause you can't run your hair threw the guys hair if you wanted to. i don't like guys that over-dress and spend too much time into what they want to wear, because thats a girls job and thats a little too metrosexual. definatly wear H%26amp;M, and stripes. any guy that wears stripes is hot. wear jeans, and nikes. look casual because casual is hot at 16. just look decent.

What clothing style do girls like? And what about hair?

im not one to give my opinion here... cuz im a guy, but im gonna star this question to figure it out as well =)

What clothing style do girls like? And what about hair?

uhm..no offence but if i saw you id laugh, quite hard

anyways i like preppyish dressing boys who shop at A%26amp;F, hollister, lacoste...those places

and i LOVE LOVE LOVE brown hair ive never liked someone without brown hair.. AND NO HAIRSPRAY OR GEL! au naturel with when its wavy/curlyish is sooo sexy :)

What clothing style do girls like? And what about hair?

Long wavy hair is really nice. But it really doesnt matter.

What clothing style do girls like? And what about hair?

I like a nice shirt and jeans, with sexy hair (ideally black with like red in it or something. But surfer dude works for me too!!). I also like guys who dress in a biker or rock kinda way (but not emo!). Basically anything male and hot. Leather helps... lol, but the open shirt with like a tank top or sexy T-Shirt underneath and jeans is the best for me. Good luck honey. =)

What clothing style do girls like? And what about hair?

i love when boys wear like ae and preppy stuff like that....you seem to have the style down pretty good.....i like natural hair better just comb it a little and let it go...dont slick it to your head tho messy is cute

What clothing style do girls like? And what about hair?

it really depends on the guy.......gel or hairspray is ok as long as you don't go crazy with it.........i personally like athletic guys so i like it when guys where jeans and a t-shirt but i also like guys who wear polos......

Hair straightener! Need some advise plz?

Well a few of my friends suggested that I use Hair straightener instead gel.

But I have no idea what brand or what kind should I buy

btw I have short hair.

Hair straightener! Need some advise plz?

Citre Shine Straightening Balm

閳界抄閳?br>Hair straightener! Need some advise plz?

its not called a hair straightener. it's called a flat iron. get ghd, or chi. you can buy it at ulta 3 (ulta.com), or sephora (sephora.com).

Hair straightener! Need some advise plz?

Sweetie if you have short hair, I wouldn't bother with a straightener, just continue to use your gel. But if you grow it out a little, nothing beats a GHD. Perfection every time!

Hair straightener! Need some advise plz?

flat iron

Hair straightener! Need some advise plz?

Well I wouldn't spend too much on the straightener if your hair is short. I use a Remington Wet2Straight (only when my hair is dry though) and it works pretty darn well I think. If you don't care about cost I suggest a Sedu. My best friend has one (and I'm getting one soon). She had a Chi and it didn't work as well and broke not long after she got it.

Hair straightener! Need some advise plz?

the ones the others have suggested are good. just make sure its a CERAMIC one or it will damage ur hair majorly.

Hair straightener! Need some advise plz?

If are looking for a cheep one I got a $25 on from target. Its a rimington AKA a wet to style and it works really good, its almost as good as a chi. I actually got it to replace the one I broke!!!

What product will give hair shine and and hold without the flakes of a gel?

What is the best way to curl your hair and keep it curled for the rest of the day?

I have straight, brown w/e blonde highlights hair and it's also armpit length.

I tried curling my hair but it goes out right away. I used hair gel and mousse but not hairspray (my mom doesn't let me use hairspray that much).

I have a curling iron and rollers. Which one is better too?

Help!

What is the best way to curl your hair and keep it curled for the rest of the day?

Well probably I think your hair doesn't curl if its thicker and straight. Heres what to do.

(1) Blow-dry your hair. While you dry move the blow dryer in a circular motion to bring out some of your natural wave.

(2) Use a curl enhacer and spray it on your entire hair. Then blowdry your hair again for about a minute and brush it out so it wont get crunchy.

(3) Seperate your hair into five sections

(4) Curl your hair as you normaly would

(5) Run gel or mouse on your fingers and finger comb your hair.

If the advice doesn't work e-mail me and i will research it and figure something else out for you.

figuresk8r200@aol.com

What is the best way to curl your hair and keep it curled for the rest of the day?

Now everyone knows scrunching your hair leaves it flakey and stiff because of the jell or mouse or even worse it falls out after only half a day. However there is a product out there ladies you can use to leave your hair with the scrunch or curly look but not with that unwanted flakey, hard hair. It is called Softee(proteen gel). You can get it at Family Dollar or Wal-mart. Its just a couple of bucks for a large amount. While your hair is wet apply a fair amount of Softee to your hair from root to ends. Brush it trough with your fingers. The from end to root scrunch you hair over and over and over. Since you have naturally curly hair just allow your hair to dry natural. But for fun if you want you can blow dry your hair upside down while scrunching it at the same time. You end result will be beautiful wavy, curly, scruchy hair that is soft not hard and not freezy. Try it out sometime I think you will like it. And good Luck.

What is the best way to curl your hair and keep it curled for the rest of the day?

diffuse it and use hair spray

What is the best way to curl your hair and keep it curled for the rest of the day?

The best way to maintain curls is stick your bare feet in some water then stick your finger in a electrical outlet... garanteed to work first time every time

What is the best way to curl your hair and keep it curled for the rest of the day?

curling iron with spray net...

What is the best way to curl your hair and keep it curled for the rest of the day?

Invest in a good curling iron...a ceramic tourmaline is great for stick straight hair...which is how mine is! I use the 1 1/4" barrel for nice pretty loose curls and they last all day. If you want a decent ceramic curling iron try the Cricket 7000 Series...it'll cost around $50 but well worth it for keeping your hairy healthy too...it has 10 heat settings and won't fry your hair! Also be sure that you aren't over doing the conditioner on your hair, that can weigh your hair down and also make it harder to hold a curl. Nexxus.com has a great way to make your hair stay curled...I've tried it, it works! http://hairstyles.nexxus.com/long-hairst...

What is the best way to curl your hair and keep it curled for the rest of the day?

probably a curling iron but im just guessing cuz i dont use them.

What is the best way to curl your hair and keep it curled for the rest of the day?

hot rollers are the best thing to use. if your hair isn't frizzy you can use the velcro like rollers when your hair is wet and then blow dry it in the curlers. it keeps the curl but if your hair is frizzy then it wont work and it will just get like fuzzy.

How do people make their 'scene' hair stand up?

How do those people make their hair so poofy? Like hair gel doesn't seem like it's what they use. How do they do it? If you don't know what i'm talking about, here's a few links::

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cf...

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cf...

How do people make their 'scene' hair stand up?

I had a boyfriend once who did one of two things to get his hair to stand up. He would either put Elmer's glue in his hair or he would just put soap in it and not rinse it out. If he slept with that stuff in his hair it would stand up and do whatever he wanted it to do. Hopefully this helps with what you are talking about and you too can have poofy hair. Oh as a side note- some people have curly hair and let it grow then brush it (which makes it poofy)...if that's what you're talking about then either you have curly hair or you deal with the fact that you won't have poofy hair.

How do people make their 'scene' hair stand up?

Lets see.... you can use all sorts of products.

I use a mixture of styling lotion and "surf wax" stuff, if you put it in your hair and when you blow dry it, hold the parts of your hair you want to stick up with your fingers while you dry it.

And then you can use a wax or pomade to shape it and make it piecey afterwords.

How do people make their 'scene' hair stand up?

I used to have hair EXACTLY like the bottom pick. I went to a salon and I got my hair dresser to razor those little layers at the top, and then you need to tease your hair with a comb. Every scene girl knows how to tease her hair, that's how you get the volume at the top and skinny, straight hair at the bottom.

How do people make their 'scene' hair stand up?

I've got a friend who makes her the top layers of her hair stand up. Some people think that scene hair looks good, but doing all the trends could damage your hair. The ones that I see use so much product, fry their hair, and over color it. If you want the type of myspace hair that everyone else wants be sure to get some shampoo/conditioner that will strengthen and repair your hair.

If there's a walgreen's near your house you should buy a can of a hair spray with the name that's something like 24 hour shine all day hold. The bottle comes in a huge size a pocket size. It'll also be a gold color. I used it to make my mohawk stand up last year. I also use this hair molding creme that I bought from a salon. It's KMS hair play molding paste. It works really well too. I think you'll have to use a variety of diffrent products before you find one they'll work best for your hair. good luck.

p.s. Scene kids usually use a straightener, so use that before you use styling products; otherwise your straightener will get styling products on it %26amp; having gunk on it looks really nasty.

How can I color my kids hair for halloween -- to dark brown?

I have a 2 year old and 3 year old who are going to be dora and diego for halloween. They will not wear wigs...They both have light brown/blondish hair. What kind of hair gel/temporary paint can I buy to make it dark brown? Can I make something that is safe and would wash out? Don't really have a lot of time to shop around so would like to buy online, or at a specific store... Any ideas? Thanks.

How can I color my kids hair for halloween -- to dark brown?

they sell hair color that is spray on like hair spray that comes in many colors and it comes out with water. its really amazing. its easy to find too. just about any dollar store, wal*mart, halloween shop, even maybe your grocery store might carry it. and its only about 2-3 bucks a can

Can i dye or highlight my dark brown hair HOT pink without bleaching?

I heard the Manic hair gel at hot topic works well, where else do they sell it? But i dont want to bleach my hair? can i highlight without bleaching? HoT pInK!!!!!!!

Can you do it at a salon? oh and what kind of hot pink brands do they sell, that work very well with dark hair without bleaching???

Can i dye or highlight my dark brown hair HOT pink without bleaching?

It won't show up if you don't bleach it. Go to a salon or even a hair school, it will be cheap there.

Can i dye or highlight my dark brown hair HOT pink without bleaching?

No. That will never work. Ever.

Can i dye or highlight my dark brown hair HOT pink without bleaching?

It'll come out some nasty mucky colr. I suggest bleaching first, but be careful.

Can i dye or highlight my dark brown hair HOT pink without bleaching?

Just get extentions. They're really cool and pretty!

Can i dye or highlight my dark brown hair HOT pink without bleaching?

no! u will have to strip the color out. for best results go to a hair salon. good luck

Can i dye or highlight my dark brown hair HOT pink without bleaching?

No way. your hair will look orange. Unfortunatley you need to bleach it. TIP: bleach first wait three weeks then dye it hot pink!

Scrunching hair? does it cause damage??

i really want to scrunch my hair for school tomorrow, but im just wondering-- you know how you have to use a lot of hair spray or gel or mousse? .....yeah, does using that much cause hair damage??

Scrunching hair? does it cause damage??

i personally don't think you need to use anything i just get it wet and keep scrunching it until it is dry and it looks great!!!

Scrunching hair? does it cause damage??

yes unless it is ceramic

Scrunching hair? does it cause damage??

i use mousse and i love it when i scunch my hair it looks great so go with it!

Scrunching hair? does it cause damage??

Its best to use a leave in conditioner especially for heat styling. Next you need Moisturizing products so your hair wont become extra dry. Make sure you towel dry your hair thoroughly before applying any products!

Scrunching hair? does it cause damage??

no it doesnt damage hair it just makes it look great!!!!!

Scrunching hair? does it cause damage??

If you scrunch constantly, it will damage your hair. But every so often is okay. Just make sure you wash the product out after a couple of days and condition.

Scrunching hair? does it cause damage??

Hi, I'm a hairstylist at a salon in Toronto--So thinking about scrunching your hair? Well to answer your question about if it will damage your hair is--no. To some extent in using the wrong products this may result in damage and of course if you do it everyday, but try and look for non-sticky products like creams for your hair and scrunch when wet--apply a thin layer of hair spray over top to hold it in place--good luck!!!!!!

Scrunching hair? does it cause damage??

no. I have been srunching my hair for years and it is very healthy,. Just wash your hair that night. It will look great.

How to get rid of grey or white hair?

My brother recently pointed out that i had a white hair, and well like anyone you'd freak out or get worried. I'm quite young but I know how I got it, years of hair gel and fizzy drinks and related chemicals have not done wonders for my hair. So I was wondering how can I get rid of it? Thanks!

How to get rid of grey or white hair?

The only way would be to dye your hair.

I'd recommend you spend the money on a salon and not do it yourself.

How to get rid of grey or white hair?

Dye it.

How to get rid of grey or white hair?

color your hair.

alot of mean dont like to do it.

but ..

it gets rid of those white and grey hairs.

How to get rid of grey or white hair?

people turn gray at all ages .

genetics hormones health and other bodily processes..

since anything you see is dead too late to do anything about whats already there.

improvements in health diet sleep etc correcting any deficiencies and figuring out if you take after great great grandpa who went grey at 25 helps.

I'm to be 50 next month and barely a few grays, thank you great grandma.!

How to get rid of grey or white hair?

If it's just one, pull it. It's perfectly normal to have a few when you're young and you might notice it because your hair is darker. I wouldn't be so worried about it. When you start to notice them all over your head, Just for Men targets the grey.

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

Is it my hair gel?

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

You might want to try to change the gel your using and then ask if it still smells and if it does then change the shampoo you use and wash your hair often.

Hope this helps :D

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

Because your hair smells like vinegar.

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

it could be your hair gel, or it could be that it takes too long to dry and is ripe?

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

It could be your hair gel; if its a cheap kind, it might smell that way out of the bottle or when it gets "stale". Or if you shower the night before on damp hair, then wake up and just brush your hair, your hair might smell sour.

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

You must not shower enough.

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

change your hair gel and shampoo.

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

Because you wash your hair with vinegar instead of shampoo.

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

well do u think that ur own hair smells lie vinegar? does it have the smell when there is no hair gel?

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

Hey, at least they don't say "hard boiled eggs!".

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

Maybe it is your hairspray...or your shampoo.Look at the ingredients.

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

It could be that your shampoo has an ingredient in it that has the smell of vinegar,or maybe some other product that you are using on your hair.I have heard before that diabetics have the odor of vinegar as well, not sure if this is true or not.

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

it can be for many reasons.

sometimes people dont feel their own smells.

so it is difficult to believe when people tell us some weird stuff like that.

it can be any product you use like a shampoo, gel, spray.

or maybe you need to wash it more often.

because sometimes the head swet more.

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

It could be that you are not getting your hair clean enough and its smells sweaty. It could be your hair gel, like you said. Change shampoo, conditioner and hair styling products and see what happens.

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

like someone else said, your hair gel mightve gotten old and stale

and do you take a daily shower?

Why do people say my hair smells like vinegar?

It could be the shampoo your using. Some people use vinegar to clean because it kills germs. (I use white vinegar to clean floors, works like a charm!) Soo, shampoo is used to clean your hair...It might have vinegar in it. Go read the back label. Some weird funky things in it might also just smell like vinegar... ^.^

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c235/s...

I was wondering how do you do it do you need hair gel, hairspray? can you just use hairspray??

How do you make your hair wavy like in this pic?

the easiest way to do it is

1 wash your hair and condition well

2 when its wet, but not dripping, like damp, just put in a curl activator gel and scrunch it. take hair mousse and keep applying to hair while you scrunch it.

3 when its almost dry, take a hair dryer and keep scrunching your hair in your palms as your blow warm air over it.

to fix it like that (but it mite give a stiff look) put a hair spray..........

How do you remove vasiline from a kids hair?

AngelKay's question is the best try hers?

How do you remove vasiline from a kids hair?

since i use Grese in my hair and grease is basicly the same thing as vasaline i am going to reccomend you used DAX veggatable Shampoo it does a great job of removing it and leaves the hair betterethan before. If that doesnt work try using Dish soap preferably the type that says it works agiasnt greease.

To remove the product. Murray's was originally formulated to stay in the hair, therefore, getting it out may be difficult for some hair types. Use a strong clarifying shampoo or liquid dishwashing soap and work into dry hair, slowly add small amounts of water to build foam, as the foam dissipates add more water, do this a few times prior to rinsing. There are many other ways which customers have submitted to us including, wash with Coca-Cola, Use a hair dryer and a fine toothed comb to melt the wax and pull it out.

My age is 16 %26amp; i hav started growing a lot of white hair frm now itself,it is keeps increasing. wat shud i do?

You might want to see your doctor...there may be a chemical change in your body responsible for this...

Apart from gel or wax what ways are there to make the hair on my sides stay down, they usually stick

hair grows a certain way because of the direction the follicle is facing. If you train your hair to fall flat it will do so. To train your hair, continually brush in the direction you want the hair to go and try to wear some sort of a head cover at night. Put the head cover on just after a shower each night and your hair will begin to lay how you want it to.

Apart from gel or wax what ways are there to make the hair on my sides stay down, they usually stick outwards

this might sound silly but aloe vera the stuff u use 4 sunburns

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

so yea.. i have thin... fine.. flat... straight.. hair... and im running out of ideas... everyday.. its down, sometimes i part it a little off to the side, i have my hair slightely layered, and my bangs layered starting at the tops of my cheeks..

and i want something to do with my hair, i have absolutely no money right now, so a new cut is out of the question,

i have a hair straightener, a blowdryer, curling iron, 1 inch and 1/2 inch, and hair spray... and gel...

i need to find a styler using that.. i have hairties obviously.. but.. idk wat i should do.. i have a roundish face to.. so that kinda makes a difference.. and idk

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

Try some the new Herbal Essences Shampoos...They really work great. They have one for body and lift...and it's only a few bucks.

My sister has thin hair and always blow drys her hair upside down. From the underneath. It gives her more body. She has also used curlers on her hair but only underneath. So when she takes them out the curls push her hair up and out. She looks really cute :) hope this helps. Hair is such a pain :)

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

Consider going to your stylist and getting frontal extensions. YOU WILL LOVE THEM! It adds thickness and volume to your hair, not length. It's kind of pricey, but well worth it.

Also, try curling it with your larger curling iron. That will look way cute! Then brush the curls out for loose waves.

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

short choppy pixie cut.

do it yourself.

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

Wear it up - french twist with teased top....Phebee on Friends wore it like this a couple of times.

Also wear it half up (not like on top with barrette) but start at the top of your ears, pull straight back and secure with clip. Pull down wispys in front for softness.

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

Throw some mousse in your hair after the shower and blow dry. Put some curls in it...go crazy with the curls too, lots of them and ticghtly wound...and if your hair is a fine and thin as mine it will look killer in 20 mins because it will mellow out a little.

Blow dry your hair with your head upside down too. It gets tiring so let it air dry a little then throw in some mousse and hang your head down and dry it that way. It will add a little volume so your hair dowsn't lay flat on your head.

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

I love straight hair.

Don't do anything with it.

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

backcomb the crown area at the root then smooth it out.

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

Ok. For flat thin hair, layers work best, it takes out a lot of weight that would normally weigh your hair down. If you cant afford a haircut than i suggest blow drying your hair with your head upside down when its wet. Use product such as a volumizer (mouse, gel, whatever). I tease my hair if its a little flat. (but thats bad for your hair) Also you can invest in velcro rollers, their quick and cheap. Let me know if you need help with those.

Good Luck.

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

Fine Hair has the appearance of softness, which can be very feminine and appealing. However, if you want it to look thicker, you should have it layered slightly. A soft body wave adds fullness and hair coloring can also give more body and make it look thicker.

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

Watch "Law and Order". Look for an episode with Carey Lowell (who just happens to be Richard Gere's wife and a former Bond girl). She has fine straight hair. Wear your hair short in a "boy cut". With that hair you probably have fine features so the hair off your face will look great. Don't FIGHT your hair, find out how it looks best - and the short "little boy cut" would look great - and any competent stylist can do it for like $18.

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

Get some mouse put in in you hair after you wash it blow dry your hair upside down rubbing your hands on your scalp that makes the scalp dry faster and gives more lift. You dont have to blow dry the rest as much you can let that dry on its own. After your hair is dry with mouse and everything done.Curl it not large sections either small sections .when your done spray your hair underneath first with a little hairspray and than the rest.

FLaT THiN FiNe HaiR!!?

i have the exact same problem and hair cut. i blow my hair with my head upside down and while its wet i put mousse in it. I've tried to curl it but with my hair it doesn't work very well.
