Keeping hair straight?

i like to straighten my hair. but i need it to stay straight the whole day. how do i do that w/hair gel? please help! best awnser gets 10 points!!! :)

if u dont mind spending a little more money, i would get a chi straightner because sometimes the cheaper ones dont work all that good. for example, i have thick, coarse, wavey hair and i let it air dry. then once its completly dry i put a serum in my hair and then straigten it. i usually do this within the after so i can sleep on my hair and get rid of the poofiness then maybe go over in the morning and it should be good! (i have a chi and its wonderful)

i prefer hair gel on the endsand hair spray the rest and also when u get out of the shower blow dry your hair straight it doesnt work great but it helps a little!!!!

if you straighten it every day, and you always want it straight, it could be one of your better interests to just chemically straighten it.. or you could use hairspray in it, then straighten it. it might work.. it works for my aunt
