How can I controll my uncontrollable/puffy hair?

Everytime I get out of the shower my hair is very puffy and uncontrollable. I put some serum thats suppose to get rid of the puffines and give my hair controll. I put it on but it still puffs up (specially during windy days) and yes I do put on the right amount. If I put on to much, it tends to look like if I have hair gel on and curls up at the ends on my hair. Ive been told that I have a lot of hair and thats why my hair puffs up, is this the case? I dont want to look like Chucky anymore, what can I do to get rid of puffy hair without using any hair straightners? Any advice will do plz....Thank You!!!

Usually the puffy and frizzy hair is do to split ends. BUT it can also just be because you have some really thick hair... Try using moose. Put a little bit in your hand and rub it through your hair while it is still wet then blow dry it in a downward motion using a round brush as a guide. I would use a shampoo that protects against heat EXCEPT for Therma silk.... NEVER use therma silk!!!!!!

maybe you could get a shorter hair cut and get it layered so it looks thinner.

use a leave in conditioner, and a frizz serum. and dont shampoo ur hair all the time, do a co wash, which means just condition it. and do a hot oil treatment once aweek. include a deep conditioning once a week also. and make sure to use a boar bristle brush at night to spread your hairs oil.
