I have heard of people using egg as a conditioner but not as a styling gel. I can imagine that is must feels awful and stinks.

Yeah, it's not a very good idea. After some time, when it starts drying, it's gonna flake off real bad. Tiny li'l white particles, all over you and your hair, bad indeed.

It would flake after it dried, and you'd end up looking like you had real bad dandruff. Use the (raw) yolks as a conditioning treatment after shampooing, leave on 5 minutes, then, rinse really well, then towel dry and apply flat beer as a setting lotion. Whip the (raw) egg whites and use as a facial pore tightener, apply, let dry, and rinse off.

You cannot use the the whites as a gel. You are so right, that would smell terrible! You can use the yolks as a conditioner but, honestly, the best way for eggs to help your hair is by eating them.

  2. You can use it as a gel I use it a lot and my sister is a cosmologist and learned in school that it is a a healthy alternative to gel and mixing it with sugar makes it stronger and smell sweet :)
